This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and restrictions for using Teli AI’s services, including AI-driven voice agents, texting automation, APIs, dashboards, mobile apps, and all related systems (the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this AUP. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, termination, or legal action where appropriate.

2. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use the Services for any of the following purposes:

2.1 Illegal, Harmful, or Fraudulent Activity

You may not use Teli AI to:

  • Violate any local, state, federal, or international laws

  • Conduct, promote, or assist in fraud

  • Engage in identity theft or phishing

  • Promote illegal products, drugs, or weapons

  • Assist criminal activity

  • Misrepresent your identity, business, or purpose

2.2 Abusive or Deceptive Communications

You may not use the Services to:

  • Harass, intimidate, or threaten individuals

  • Send deceptive, misleading, or manipulative messages

  • Pretend your AI agent is a human employee if your use case requires clear disclosure

  • Engage in political advocacy, election influence, or government impersonation

  • Spam, “blast,” or mass message without consent

2.3 Violations of Telecom and Messaging Regulations

You must not use Teli AI in ways that violate:

  • TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act)

  • FCC guidelines

  • A2P 10DLC rules

  • CTIA messaging best practices

  • STIR/SHAKEN identity verification requirements

Prohibited examples include:

  • Sending unsolicited marketing texts or calls

  • Automated dialing without proper opt-in

  • Bypassing carrier registration or spam filters

  • Using unverified numbers for outbound messaging

  • Failing to provide opt-out instructions (“STOP,” “UNSUBSCRIBE”)

2.4 Sensitive Data Collection

Unless explicitly authorized in writing, you may not use Teli AI to collect, store, or transmit:

  • Social Security numbers

  • Driver’s license numbers

  • Financial account numbers

  • Medical or health information (HIPAA-regulated data)

  • Biometric identifiers

  • Passwords or authentication codes

  • Other highly sensitive personal data

2.5 High-Risk or Disallowed Business Categories

You may not use the Services for:

  • Payday loans or cash advances

  • Adult or pornographic content

  • Escort or dating services

  • Illegal gambling or unlicensed betting

  • Debt collection without proper certifications

  • Multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes

  • Cryptocurrency investment schemes

  • Any business deemed “high risk” by telecom carriers

3. Technical Restrictions

You may not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Services

  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass security or authentication systems

  • Interfere with or overload networks, APIs, or infrastructure

  • Use Teli AI to generate abnormal traffic loads

  • Launch automated queries that degrade system performance

  • Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code

4. Data Use and Responsibilities

4.1 Your Data Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining all necessary consents from your customers

  • Providing accurate caller ID and business identity

  • Ensuring your scripts, prompts, and uploaded data comply with applicable laws

  • Maintaining compliance with your industry regulations

4.2 AI Agent Behavior

You may not instruct or configure AI agents to:

  • Provide legal, medical, or financial advice

  • Give guarantees, pricing promises, or claims not approved by your business

  • Engage in high-pressure tactics or deceptive sales behavior

  • Make commitments your business cannot fulfill

5. Fair Use & Rate Limits

To maintain system stability, Teli AI may enforce:

  • API rate limits

  • Message throughput caps

  • Call concurrency limits

  • Storage and retention limits

Abuse or circumvention of these limits is prohibited.

6. Security & Account Protection

Users must:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials

  • Use multi-factor authentication where available

  • Notify Teli AI immediately of unauthorized access or security incidents

  • Not share API keys publicly or with untrusted parties

7. Suspension & Termination

Teli AI may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violating this AUP

  • Creating risk to the platform, carriers, or users

  • Excessive spam complaints

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Non-compliance with telecom regulations

In urgent cases, suspension may occur without prior notice to protect system integrity.

8. Changes to This AUP

We may update this AUP at any time. Updates take effect when posted. Continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of any changes.
